More Malongo Wildlife........

The Cabinda region of Angola is home to one of the largest Bat colonies in Africa. They are all over the place here, millions of the bloody things!

These are Fruit Bats (so I've been told), they pretty much hang about on the trees all day and then its party time at night!

This Poisonous Snake was found in amongst the plants at our Greenhouse! Gulp!

The Fire Department (who are also the Snake removal team) with their slippery customer!

Taken from one of the Off shore platforms!

These Pics are coutesy of my boss, Eric Walker! Cheers Eric!

  2. Would you add this bat photo as a citizen-science observations to the AfriBats project on iNaturalist (www.inaturalist.org/projects/afribats)? AfriBats will use your observations to better understand bat distributions and help protect bats in Africa.

    Thanks!
